An electronic guard tour system is an essential tool for any company providing guard services. Step 1 - The Tour
Checkpoints - The guard touches the Deggy Checkpoint installed at a client’s location with the Deggy steel pen.
The pen collects the checkpoint location with the time and date stamp.
Incident Tracking - The Deggy event table is an easy way to register incidents during the tour, such as "open door", "broken window", etc…
Step 2 - Downloading the Tour
Computer Downloaded - The Deggy download Station transfers the tour data from the pen to the computer.
Supervisor’s Portable Downloader - Every time a supervisor arrives at a site, tour data can be downloaded right on the spot. Once collected from a pen to a supervisor’s portable downloader, data can then be transferred to a computer.
Wireless Deggy Web Downloader - Once the pen has been downloaded, tour data is transferred wirelessly to a designated computer.
Step 3 - Managing the Tour Data
2009 Guard Tour Software - Easy to use Deggy Control Windows software manages all your tour data. The Deggy Control Software allows you to download tour data from the pen directly to the computer, using the portable downloader or from the Internet with the new Wireless Deggy Web. It converts tour data into useful, detailed, printable reports.
Deggy® Steel Pen
The Deggy® Steel Pen is a high technology data collector that reads Deggy® Buttons (checkpoints). Each time a Deggy® Button is read, the Deggy® Pen stores the unique serial number along with the date and time stamp. Data is then downloaded, using Deggy® Control Software on any PC running Windows™, connected to a DLS (download station).

Deggy® Download Station
DLS Interface: Deggy® Control Download Station The DLS is a small device which is installed into the USB PC port . Its function is to program Pens, register Buttons and download data from Pens and Buttons to Deggy® Control Software.
Wireless Deggy® Web Downloader
The Wireless Deggy Web Downloader is an extremely resistance piece of hardware, capable of downloading tour data from a Deggy Steel Pen and sending it wirelessly by Internet to your computer. With no buttons or fragile displays, it’s very easy to operate. This powerful device can be used at the client's site as a Wireless Deggy Web Downloader or with the supervisor as a portable downloader.
Deggy® Checkpoints
The technological solution for the outmoded watchclock system (electronic checkpoint instead of key). Each checkpoint (button) is basically composed of an electronic circuit with a unique laser-recorded serial number in a stainless steel casing. The Buttons are highly durable and do not demand electricity. They are ideal for hostile environments with dust, rain, snow, electromagnetic fields, etc.

Deggy® Event Table
EVENT TABLE WITH 12 DEGGY BUTTONS A leather wallet holds 12 Deggy buttons for event registration. Each button is assigned an event; for example, "door open", "window broken", "missing chair", etc. The guard carries the event wallet during the tour and touches the pen on the corresponding button in the event table to any ocurrence on the tour. The pen keeps the event with the date in its memory. After the download the report will inform it.
